1. Our Community Values
BAC Battle is built on principles of safety, awareness, and responsible social interaction. These Community Guidelines establish standards for behavior and content to ensure a positive, respectful environment for all users.
By using BAC Battle, you agree to follow these guidelines and contribute to a community that prioritizes safety and mutual respect.
2. Core Principles
- Safety First: Never encourage dangerous behavior or excessive drinking
- Respect Others: Treat all community members with dignity and courtesy
- Be Authentic: Use accurate information and don't misrepresent yourself
- Follow the Law: Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Protect Privacy: Respect the privacy and personal information of others
- Think Before You Post: Consider the impact of your content on others
3. Prohibited Content
⚠️ ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
Posting illegal or endangering content will always be followed by legal action. We will provide login information, IP addresses, and all relevant data to authorities.
3.1 Illegal Content - IMMEDIATE LEGAL ACTION
The following content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination, permanent ban, and referral to law enforcement:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any content depicting, promoting, or soliciting sexual activity involving minors
- Child Exploitation: Content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits children in any way
- Terrorism/Violent Extremism: Content promoting terrorist organizations, violent extremism, or mass violence
- Human Trafficking: Content facilitating or promoting human trafficking or exploitation
- Drug Trafficking: Content facilitating the sale or distribution of illegal drugs
- Credible Threats: Direct threats of violence against individuals or groups
- Self-Harm Promotion: Content encouraging suicide or self-injury
- Non-Consensual Intimate Content: Sharing intimate images/videos without consent ("revenge porn")
3.2 Dangerous Content
Content that endangers safety is prohibited:
- Drinking and Driving: Posts promoting or depicting drinking and driving
- Extreme Intoxication Challenges: Content encouraging dangerous levels of alcohol consumption
- Alcohol Poisoning: Glorifying or encouraging behavior that risks alcohol poisoning
- Dangerous Stunts: Content showing dangerous activities while intoxicated
- Underage Drinking: Content promoting or depicting minors consuming alcohol
3.3 Hateful and Discriminatory Content
We do not tolerate hate speech or discrimination:
- Content attacking individuals based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender, gender identity, or disability
- Slurs, stereotypes, or dehumanizing language targeting protected groups
- Promoting hate groups or hateful ideologies
- Denying well-documented violent events (e.g., Holocaust denial)
3.4 Harassment and Bullying
- Targeted harassment of individuals or groups
- Cyberbullying or persistent unwanted contact
- Doxxing (sharing personal information without consent)
- Encouraging others to harass someone
- Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual advances
3.5 Adult Sexual Content
- Nudity or sexually explicit content (including partial nudity)
- Pornographic material or sexual acts
- Sexually suggestive content involving intoxicated individuals
- Sexual solicitation
Note: BAC Battle is an alcohol tracking app, not a dating or adult content platform.
3.6 Spam and Misinformation
- Spam, scams, or fraudulent schemes
- Commercial advertising without authorization
- Misleading health information about alcohol
- Fake accounts or impersonation
- Manipulated media intended to deceive
3.7 Intellectual Property Violations
- Posting copyrighted content without permission
- Trademark infringement
- Plagiarism or falsely claiming others' work as your own
4. Acceptable Use
BAC Battle should be used to:
- Track Responsibly: Monitor your alcohol consumption for awareness and safety
- Stay Connected: Share experiences with friends in a positive, supportive way
- Look Out for Friends: Use group features to keep each other safe
- Share Safely: Post photos, videos, and updates that are appropriate and respectful
- Engage Positively: Comment and interact in constructive, friendly ways
5. Reporting Violations
Help Keep Our Community Safe
Reporting violations helps us maintain a safe environment for everyone. Reports are confidential and reviewed promptly.
5.1 How to Report - In-App
You can report content or users directly within the BAC Battle app:
- Navigate to the post, comment, or profile you want to report
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) or flag icon
- Select "Report"
- Choose the reason for your report from the list
- Add additional context if needed (optional)
- Submit your report
Reports are anonymous and the reported user will not know who reported them.
5.2 Report Categories
When reporting, select the most appropriate category:
- Illegal Content: CSAM, terrorism, trafficking, threats
- Safety Concern: Drinking and driving, dangerous behavior, self-harm
- Harassment: Bullying, doxxing, targeted attacks
- Hate Speech: Discriminatory or hateful content
- Sexual Content: Nudity, explicit material, sexual harassment
- Spam/Scam: Fraudulent content or commercial spam
- Underage User: User appears to be under 18
- Impersonation: Fake account or identity theft
- Other: Violations not covered by other categories
5.3 Email Reporting
For serious violations or if you cannot report in-app:
- Email: [email protected]
- Subject Line: "Community Guidelines Violation" or "Urgent: Illegal Content"
Include:
- Username or link to the violating content/profile
- Description of the violation
- Screenshots (if safe and appropriate)
- Any additional relevant context
5.4 Emergency Situations
⚠️ If someone is in immediate danger or you witness a crime in progress, contact local emergency services (police: 112 in EU) FIRST, then report to us.
6. Enforcement and Consequences
6.1 Review Process
When a report is submitted:
- Immediate Review: All reports reviewed within 24 hours
- Automated Screening: Illegal content triggers immediate automated removal
- Human Moderation: Trained moderators assess context and severity
- Action Taken: Appropriate enforcement action implemented
- Notification: Reporter receives confirmation (details limited for privacy)
6.2 Enforcement Actions
Depending on violation severity:
- Warning: First-time minor violations may receive a warning
- Content Removal: Violating content deleted immediately
- Temporary Suspension: Account access restricted for specific period (1-30 days)
- Permanent Ban: Account permanently terminated, no reinstatement
- Device/IP Ban: Prevent circumvention through new accounts
- Law Enforcement Referral: Legal violations reported to authorities with full user data
6.3 Immediate Ban Offenses
The following result in immediate permanent ban with no warnings:
- Any CSAM or child exploitation content
- Terrorism or violent extremism
- Human trafficking
- Credible threats of violence
- Non-consensual intimate content
- Repeated violations after previous bans
6.4 Legal Action Protocol
When illegal or endangering content is detected:
- Immediate Preservation: All evidence preserved (posts, images, metadata)
- Data Collection: IP addresses, login timestamps, device information collected
- Law Enforcement Contact: Relevant authorities notified within 24 hours
- Full Cooperation: All requested data provided to legal authorities
- Legal Proceedings: We will always pursue legal action and support prosecution
We do not negotiate with users posting illegal content. Legal action is mandatory.
7. Appeals Process
If you believe your account was suspended or content removed in error:
- Email [email protected] with subject "Appeal: [Your Username]"
- Explain why you believe the action was incorrect
- Provide any relevant context or evidence
- Appeals reviewed within 5 business days
Note: Appeals for illegal content violations (CSAM, terrorism, etc.) will not be considered. These decisions are final.
8. User Responsibilities
As a community member, you are responsible for:
- Your Content: Everything you post, share, or comment
- Your Account Security: Keeping your login credentials secure
- Reporting Violations: Helping maintain community safety by reporting issues
- Following Guidelines: Staying informed about these guidelines and updates
- Legal Compliance: Ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws
9. Data Provided to Authorities
When we refer cases to law enforcement, we provide:
- Account Information: Username, email, registration date, profile details
- IP Addresses: Login IPs and timestamps
- Device Information: Device IDs, OS version, app version
- Content: Violating posts, images, videos, comments
- Metadata: Upload timestamps, GPS locations (if available), interaction data
- Communication: Any relevant in-app messages or communications
This cooperation is mandatory under Hungarian law and EU regulations for serious criminal offenses.
10. Updates to Guidelines
These Community Guidelines may be updated to reflect:
- Evolving community standards
- New types of harmful content
- Legal requirement changes
- User feedback and safety research
Material changes will be communicated through in-app notifications. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised guidelines.

We will always cooperate with law enforcement and provide all available user data (IP addresses, login information, content, metadata) when illegal content is posted. This is non-negotiable and mandatory under EU and Hungarian law.
